
Chico Martinez Memorial Scholarships
We are proud to offer two annual scholarships that support the educational goals of Hispanic and Latino students in our community. One scholarship is designated for graduates of Adrian Public Schools, while the other is open to any graduating student from a Lenawee County school.
Eligibility Requirements
(applies to both scholarships)

Must be of Hispanic/Latino heritage

Minimum 2.5 GPA (include high school transcript)

At least 20 community service hours completed between grades 9–12

Copy of acceptance letter from a college or trade school

300-word essay explaining: “Why I Am Proud of My Culture”

Opportunities
Students interested in volunteering with Chico’s Cinco de Mayo are welcome to join events or attend a committee meeting to share ideas and feedback. Volunteer participation counts toward community service hours for both scholarships.
